Happy New Year letter
Hi everyone,
I hope this finds you healthy and ready for a great and prosperous 2012. Thank you all so much for the nice cards, presents, and well wishes through the holidays. I really appreciate your thoughtfulness.
I am gearing up to start recording with Clint Black the first week of January. I am honored that my buddy Clint asked me to produce some sides for his new album ( I guess I'll always call them albums ). That will be fun!

Steve Appearances During CMA Week
Steve will be signing autographs at the Opry store June 9th from 2:30 - 3:30 before he performs at the third annual Guitars of the Stars Benefit Auction Thurs., June 9, 4 p.m. at Hall of Fame Park in the middle of CMA Music Fest will give fans the unique opportunity to bid on acoustic guitars decorated by some of country music’s hottest stars. All proceeds from the auction will benefit the Opry Trust Fund which assists members of the country music community in need.

Steve was surprised to receive this post on Facebook about his model Takamine owned by Russ Housman. (See pictures on the photo page)
"After three days of looking through what used to be my home and studio, my friend Rhonda found what looked to be a guitar from under 6ft of rubble.
